The Lampard Community School

Headteacher's Welcome

We encourage all members of our school community to set high standards in whatever they do and celebrate all achievements. Our students have a wide range of different needs and a wonderful mix of talents, interests and personalities. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and when learning with us, children are cared for, valued, challenged and supported to achieve the very best they can.

We believe that learning takes place in and outside of the classroom and we make good use of our extensive facilities which includes a small woodland and horticulture area. We also use our local area to experience real life learning and have a wide range of trips and visits including residentials.

We know our students well and provide personalised provision to ensure that all have the opportunity to achieve the most from their time with us. We have a person centred approach to learning and value our very positive relationships with students, parents and carers. "Pupils enjoy coming to school and say it is a 'happy place' for them to learn."

When our year 11 students leave Lampard they are more confident, many are considerably more independent and they are well prepared to take on new opportunities and challenges. "Pupils are well prepared for the next stage of their education." We take great pride in our transition work to ensure that each young person continues to progress and learn following their time at Lampard.

Our website will provide you with a valuable insight into everyday life within the school, additional activities and special events that highlight our work – we hope you’ll explore and enjoy.

If you would like to find out more, please don’t hesitate to contact us or arrange to visit.

Thank you
