Charlie in Exe class absolutely loved it and was really engaged! Charlie said “ It was a brilliant story with lots of bits we could join in with. The lady was dressed up, so it felt real”.

In Umber class Dylan loved how the author told them about the story she wrote. “She was fun and interesting. We have lots of facts about Flamingos, such as what we thought was their knee is actually their ankle!”

We are very lucky to have the opportunity to celebrate all things books with the Appledore Book Festival and the wonderful authors and illustrators who visit and inspire our students.
