Lyn Class' Fantastic Week of Outdoor Learning
What an exciting week it has been for Lyn Class! We've truly embraced the wonders of learning outside the classroom, making memories that will last a lifetime.
On Tuesday, we teamed up with Tavy Class and set off to Westward Ho! The weather was just perfect for a day by the sea. We started off on the green, where we played a variety of games before tucking into a lovely picnic lunch. After our appetites were sated, we headed down to the beach where the fun really began! The children enjoyed playing in the sand, building impressive sandcastles and splashing around as waves lapped at the shore.
Wednesday saw us venturing to Bideford for another day of adventure! Armed with our scavenger hunt lists, we strolled along the quay, spotting key landmarks and discussing their significance. The highlight of the day was our visit to the Burton Art Gallery, where we marvelled at stunning paintings of the ocean and explored fascinating historical artefacts.
To finish off a fantastic day, we let off some steam on the fun apparatus before treating ourselves to a refreshing ice lolly. What a brilliant way to round off our week of outdoor learning!
