Heron Class recently embarked on an exciting journey with the Lyfta lesson ‘The Last Trawler’, exploring the inspiring story of The Pioneer 🚤 — the last trawler boat in San Francisco!

The children discovered how Giuseppe and Joeleen used innovation to create a better fishing net 🐟, helping to promote more sustainable practices within their community 🌱.

Through their teamwork in tackling the challenges of declining fish stocks, we reflected on the importance of collaboration here at school 🤝.

This engaging story also sparked thoughtful discussions about different fishing methods 🎣, encouraging our students to think critically about sustainability and teamwork.
