๐ŸŒฑ Learning Outside the Classroom: Life Skills in Action! ๐ŸŒผ

At Lampard, we believe that education extends far beyond the four walls of a classroom. Over the past few weeks,  our students of Barle Class have been busy acquiring invaluable skills that will stay with them for a lifetime! ๐ŸŒŸ

๐Ÿ”จ Preparing and Painting a Garden Fence: Our learners rolled up their sleeves to help maintain our lovely outdoor spaces. Not only did they develop practical skills, but they also learned the importance of teamwork and responsibility.

๐ŸŒณ Creating a Dead Hedge Wildlife Habitat: Students got hands-on as they constructed a wildlife haven in our garden. This engaging project not only supports local biodiversity but also teaches them about environmental stewardship. ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿฐ

๐Ÿ Farm Duties – Cleaning Out Goats & Caring for Animals: Our farm offers a real-world experience where students gain insights into animal care. From cleaning out the goat pens to nurturing our friendly guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens, and our cheeky pig, they’re learning about compassion and responsibility.

๐Ÿงบ Laundry and Ironing at Ocean Cottage: Life skills take centre stage at Ocean Cottage, where students learn the ins and outs of laundry and ironing. It's not just about keeping clothes tidy; it’s about taking pride in their surroundings and managing daily tasks.

We are incredibly proud of our students for embracing these learning opportunities outside of the traditional classroom environment. Every experience helps to shape well-rounded individuals ready to face the world! ๐Ÿ’ชโœจ
