Yeo Class's Adventure at Arlington Court 🌳✨

We met the rangers who told us about their jobs and the estate then we had a walk around the formal gardens and the walled vegetable garden. There were lots of fruit and vegetables growing, including onions, pumpkins, apples and pears. 🍏🎃🥕

We took a tour of the house. It was full of beautiful ornaments and paintings. We learned about the last lady who lived in the house before it became a National Trust property. She loved animals and travelled the world, bringing back many beautiful items. We went into the dungeon area to see the bat cam but unfortunately, it wasn't working but we enjoyed the reading room which had lots of books, a wireless radio and an old typewriter. 🏰🌍

After lunch we went on a woodland walk and enjoyed the play areas. It was beautiful and weather was good. We all had a lovely day.
