On Friday 10th November, Lampard celebrated "World Science Day" with a visit from a professional scientist and immuno-biologist called Ruth.
Ruth is extremely passionate about Science and sharing her enthusiasm for it with children, which led her to start her own science workshop company called "Sciencedipity". She brought with her some intriguing equipment and different chemicals, and shared a number of dramatic, awe-inspiring and curiosity-fuelling experiments that got the audience excited and engaged.
She then showed the children how to create their very own bath-bombs and putty slime which they got to take home at the end of the day. Every child got involved in their session and had a memorable time. We hope to be able to invite Ruth back next year for more fun and interesting science!
